Greenwich Millennium Village wins Gold at the WhatHouse? Awards 2023

We are delighted to share that our joint venture scheme with Taylor Wimpey Central London and Greater London Authority, Greenwich Millennium Village (GMV), has won the award for the Best Regeneration Scheme at this year’s WhatHouse? Awards.

These highly regarded awards celebrate excellence and innovation within the housebuilding industry, recognising enterprising, customer-focused housebuilders and housing associations, who work alongside an equally innovative supply chain to produce top-quality housing.

The judges commented: “Regeneration is a complex and difficult process, and not for those who only think in the short-term, but Greenwich Millenium Village illustrates that, when done well, it can be a triumph.”

23 years on from its inception, GMV illustrates what can be delivered when regeneration is done well. Recognised for being a well-designed scheme, with several different areas within the masterplan that have their own character and are recognisable places in their own right, this award is testament to the team behind it who are creating a new neighbourhood where people truly want to live.

As a leading UK mixed-tenure developer, we are committed to delivering sustainable and innovative long-term communities and this award for GMV, in collaboration with our partner Taylor Wimpey, reflects our shared ambition to create places people love.

Peter Willis, managing direct of Eastern Counties, comments: “Incredibly proud to have received this recognition at our flagship site, Greenwich Millennium Village. These awards celebrate the very best residential developments across the UK and receiving this win really is testament to our team’s ability to create lasting relationships with our partners, to deliver places where people really do want to live.”

Homebuyers can choose from a wide range of one and two-bedroom apartments now available at Greenwich Millennium Village with prices from £434,995. Buyers can benefit from a great range of incentives available, including a contribution of up to £35,000 towards your deposit (T’s & C’s apply).
