Countryside Partnerships shortlisted in Constructing Excellence East Midlands Awards

Vistry Group is pleased to announce that Countryside Partnerships’ South East Midlands Elderswell Village has been shortlisted in both the Integration & Collaborative Working and the Residential Project of the Year categories for the Constructing Excellence East Midlands Awards 2023.

Elderswell Village in Turvey, Bedfordshire is a state-of-the-art living village designed to provide a comfortable and supportive environment for over 65s. Built by Countryside Partnerships for Inspired Villages, the £35.7 million project provides 128 age-appropriate homes comprising of 42 one-bedroom apartments and 86 two-bedroom apartments.

Elderswell Village was able to meet the development’s key design principles which are focused on maximising residents’ quality of life through collaboration of all contractors who brought their different specialisms to the table. Operated by Inspired Villages, the village centre includes a restaurant, café, wellness centre (featuring a fitness studio, gym and jacuzzi pool), and library.

The prestigious Constructing Excellence East Midlands Awards are recognised across the East Midlands built environment as the biggest and brightest celebration of best practice. They are a clear demonstration of the core strength of construction in the East Midlands and the desire and commitment to deliver buildings, housing, infrastructure, and facilities of all kinds in a collaborative and sustainable manner.
