SAVING YOU MONEY

Saving you money

According to the Home Builders Federation, on average, energy bills for new build homes are 55% cheaper. The monthly average energy bill for a new build property is £109, whereas the bill for existing property is £245– that’s a saving of £135* per month or £1,627 per year. Those that buy a new build house specifically see even greater annual savings of £2,199. It's thanks to A-rated boilers, low energy LED lighting, smart thermostats and installing appliances with high efficiency ratings.

In addition to these superb savings, at Beaumont Manor, you will also benefit from electric car chargers to all houses as standard, plus PV solar panels are installed on most of our new build homes. What's more, some of our homes boast an air source heat pump to further improve energy efficiency. Speak to our Sales Team at Beaumont Manor today to find out more.

GREEN MORTGAGES

Green Mortgages

By buying a new energy efficient Countryside Home you could take advantage of exclusive ‘Green’ mortgage products. A mortgage lender could offer lower interest rates on properties that carry an energy performance certificate or a predicted energy assessment rating of A – C. Think of it as a reward for buyers who are purchasing an energy efficient home. All our standard homes have a rating of A or B so this type of mortgage may be ideal if you are looking to purchase a new build home.

KEEPING YOU COSY

Keeping you cosy

Unlike older properties, our homes come with high efficiency double glazing as standard, letting plenty of light and warmth in while minimising heat loss and reducing the amount of noise you’ll hear within your home. Not only do they keep you cosy they also reduce the amount of external noise that you’ll hear within your home.

Additional roof and floor insulation are among the other unseen features included with our homes that will help reduce the costs of keeping your home warm in the winter months, while also keeping you cool in the summer.

REDUCING WATER USAGE

Reducing water usage

Our kitchens and bathrooms incorporate water saving measures, without compromising on style or functionality.

These features mean our homes use up to 20% less water* than the UK average. Our taps and showers use aerated technology to provide the feeling of a strong flow, whilst using less water. Plus, our dual low flush toilets use the minimum amount of water to ensure less waste.

*Average Countryside home uses 100-110 litres/person/day compared to UK average of 140 litres/person/day according to the Energy Savings Trust

Life at Beaumont Manor

Abundant with green spaces and up-to-date amenities, Hemel Hempstead balances a relaxed pace of life with modern living.

Our 1, 2, 3 and 4-bedroom new homes for sale are surrounded by countryside that is popular with walkers, hikers and cyclists. On the northern edges of the town, Gadebridge Park's 32 hectares of green space provides additional opportunities for relaxation and recreational activities outdoors.

Moreover, 2024 has seen the town make the top 10 of Lambert Smith Hampton’s UK Vitality Index for the second year running, highlighting the town's promising growth prospects.

Going shopping

Hemel Hempstead is home to a range of supermarkets. This includes a Sainsbury's, two Aldi supermarkets and a Co-Op close to our new build houses, giving you a wide choice for your weekly food shopping. There are also several Tesco Express stores conveniently located throughout the town, making it easy to grab smaller necessities when you're out and about.

The Marlowes Shopping Centre is one of the most popular retail shopping destinations in town, offering an extensive selection of well-known high-street brands. The centre has undergone significant refurbishment in recent years to further expand its selection of shops and restaurants, as well as inclusive facilities like a family area where parents can have a quick rest while children play. Nearby, the Riverside Shopping Centre offers a complementary range of high-street shops in a more scenic, waterside location.

On the other hand, Hemel Old Town hosts a monthly market in the square next to the town hall, featuring a selection of specialist shops and boutiques selling unique, artisanal items.

Getting an education

Beaumont Manor enjoys a wide selection of schools nearby, making it an attractive choice for families with growing children in need of a quality education. Within a 3-mile radius, there are several primary and secondary schools rated 'Good' by Ofsted, including the Astley Cooper School. The additional new primary school will be a convenient addition for families living in our new housing development.

Travelling around

Hemel Hempstead is conveniently located north of London, with excellent train links connecting the town to London Euston in less than half an hour via Watford Junction. Beyond the capital, the town's station also provides direct trains to Milton Keynes and Tring.

Thanks to accessible road connections, it's easy for you to drive to nearby locations such as Watford, Milton Keynes and Luton via the M1, as well as other areas surrounding London via the M25.
