The young couple recently purchased their dream home at Countryside’s Belle Vue Place development in Greater Manchester, and although they came lots of properties during their home search, there was no doubt in their minds that Belle Vue was the one for them
The journey
Almost a decade ago, Sadaf was staying with her sister in Belle Vue when she decided she wanted to one day buy a home in the same area. But she was only 17-years-old at the time and home buying felt a long way off.
Years later, Sadaf began house hunting with her new husband Kadar when Countryside announced an upcoming development in Belle Vue. Feeling as though everything had aligned perfectly, Sadaf and Kadar registered their interest immediately, wanting to be the first to find out about upcoming plots.
The dream
Sadaf explains: “When the Belle Vue Place development was announced, we registered our interest immediately. It suddenly felt like everything was coming together as we had hoped.
“I would regularly have dreams we were already living in Belle Vue and I would visualise myself walking around the house, taking in the feeling of being truly at home. Even before we reserved, I had planned what each room was going to look like and how we would use each of the areas. This only made us more determined to save as much as we could so we could turn these dreams into reality.”
The savings
“We lived with my husband’s parents after we got married which helped us save the majority of our home deposit. We had a set goal in mind and did everything we could to reach it.
“We made savings by cutting back on extravagant gifts and spending, taking our own lunches to work and eating out much less. Although it was difficult at times, we stayed focused on our end goal.”
The results
“The morning our plot at Belle Vue Place was released was so emotional - we called straight away to reserve and felt an overwhelming sense of relief that we had finally been able to buy the home we always wanted.”
Sadaf and Kadar are now happily settled and when we asked Sadaf what her favourite feature of the home is, she told us:
“Honestly, everything! I love the open-plan design, how light and bright the whole house is and the quality of the finish. It's obvious the layout and the storage has been really well thought out and it works really well for us.”
